Spring 2016 Grants
Foundation awards additional $500 grant to each school
The Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation is providing an additional $500 grant to each school in the District. The funds were raised during the Foundation's annual gala.
Schools may opt to use the money for projects or programs in these areas: robotics, 3-D printing, recording studio, Makerspace, science experiments, or the performing arts.
The Foundation's Board of Directors visited some schools on May 12 to begin presenting the grant awards.

Led by Foundation President Phil Parke, Foundation Executive Director Jodie Huston, and Secretary/Treasurer Pam Steele, the group surprised teachers with presentations of oversized checks. Also participating in the prize patrol were these Foundation board members: Allison Bruflat and Kim York. The Foundation invited Ray-Pec staff members to apply for grants of up to $500 to be used this school year. A committee selected the recipients.
