The Raymore-Peculiar School District, upon employment, utilizes E-Verify to validate the ability of new employees to work legally in the United States. The District will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with information for each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
Human Resources Director earns certification
Director of Human Resources Rachel Surls was awarded the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification by the HR Certification Institute. Surls has worked for the Ray-Pec Human Resources Department for five years.
The PHR demonstrates mastery of the technical and operational aspects of Human Resource management, including U.S. laws and regulations. A professional obtaining this certification has knowledge of the HR role in the employee experience, as well as the business decision-making process and use of data to make well-informed decisions. Professionals who have earned the PHR credential are re-certified every three years.
