Meet Dr. Lisa Hatfield: Ray-Pec Compliance Officer
As Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, Dr. Lisa Hatfield is involved in all aspects of recruiting and hiring new employees. The District relies on her for information about compensation, job descriptions, benefits, and annual training.
An important, but less well known, part of Dr. Hatfield’s responsibilities is her role as the district’s Compliance Officer. In this position, she is responsible for addressing any inquiries, questions and grievances regarding the district's non-discrimination policies. If you have an inquiry or complaint related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or denial of access, please contact Dr. Hatfield.
As Compliance Officer, Dr. Hatfield is also responsible for coordinating the District’s efforts to comply with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.
This is Dr. Hatfield’s 20th year with the District. She first served as a teacher at Shull Sixth Grade Center, and then at Eagle Glen Intermediate School, when the school opened to serve 5th and 6th grades. In 2005, she became Principal of Eagle Glen Intermediate School, and then in 2011, was named Director of Human Resources. On July 1, 2019, her title changed to Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, to reflect the breadth of the position and her level of responsibilities.
Her husband, Steve Hatfield, teaches at Industrial Technology at Ray-Pec High School. Their daughter, Katie, is a 2016 graduate of RPHS, and son, Hunter, is a junior.

Designated Compliance Officer
Dr. Lisa Hatfield, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, is the designated Compliance Officer for the Ray-Pec School District. Dr. Hatfield is responsible for addressing, in a prompt and equitable manner, any inquiries, questions and grievances regarding the district's non-discrimination policies.
