Summer School 2022
The District offers Summer School sessions in June (in-person and virtual) and July (virtual only). Registration is now open. If you have a question about Summer School, you may send a message to summer.school@raypec.org.
Elementary and Middle School (16 days)
- June 6 to June 30 - Monday through Thursday
- in-person (choose 2 weeks or 4 weeks)

High School (19 days)

Elementary Summer School:
Students who will be in grades K-5 in the Fall of 2022 can register for summer school by logging into Tyler SIS
Students entering grades K-5 will attend class from 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Arrival begins at 8:15 a.m. The four-week Summer School is structured with two-week (eight-day) thematic units.
For in-person learning, students may choose to attend single sessions of two weeks each or a full session for four weeks. For online learning, students will attend full sessions for four weeks.
The K-5 program integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and math topics into courses in a project-based format.
For students in grades K-5, fee-based Panther Pride child care will be offered (before and after school care and/or Friday, as needed).
Middle School Summer School:
Students who will be in grades 6-8 in the Fall of 2022 can register for summer school by logging into Tyler SIS
Students in grades 6-8 will attend class from 7:25 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Ray-Pec High School. The four-week Summer School is structured with two-week (eight-day) thematic units. A student may register for two weeks or four weeks in-person and an additional four weeks online in July.
High School Summer School: Registration is open
- Students who will be in 9-12 grades in the Fall of 2022 can register for summer school by logging into Tyler SIS
- Students who will be 9th graders in the Fall of 2022 can also sign up for classes in Tyler SIS
- Students who will be 10th-12th graders in the Fall of 2022 can sign up for classes at the Summer School Course Preference Form.
Summer School for students entering grades 9-12 is scheduled June 6 to June 30. Courses are available virtually or in-person at Ray-Pec High School. The second session, July 5 to July 29, is virtual only.
- The majority of high school courses for credit will be five days per week. (Monday to Friday)
- Hours for high school will be 7:25 to 10:45 a.m. for the morning session and/or 11:25 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. for the afternoon session.
- Students may enroll in and earn a maximum of 2.0 credits. (Two credits equals four classes. This is a maximum of two courses in June, and two courses in July.)
- Here are some of the course offerings. Check enrollment forms for all course offerings.
- A new course offering this year is math remediation.
- Physical Education and Health - one-half credit. There will be sections for incoming freshmen and upperclassmen. This is a half-day course for 19 days.
- Summer Fitness - one-half credit. This is elective credit, NOT physical education credit.
- Personal Finance - one-half credit, grades 10-12. This is a half-day course for 19 days.
- Launch Online Learning Courses (all catalog offerings - no Advanced Placement).
- VIPR Online Learning Courses.
Transportation
Morning and afternoon transportation is provided for all K-12 students, as needed. High School students attending morning only or afternoon only will need to arrange mid-day transportation.

Meals
Breakfast and lunch is available for purchase. (The period of free meals ends at the conclusion of the school year in May.) Menus
