Phil Parke, president of the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation, left, presents Don Shull with the inaugural "Partner in Education" award at the March 21, 2014, Gala. Mr. Shull was Superintendent of the Raymore-Peculiar School District from 1966 to 1984 and is the only individual to have a district school named after him.
