Board Honors Todd Schnake
The School Board on Nov. 18 honored Ray-Pec High School Teacher Todd Schnake. Mr. Schnake, who teaches speech and theatre at Ray-Pec High School, is the Ray-Pec School District 2021 Teacher of the Year.

At the meeting, Mr. Schnake was presented with a Teacher of the Year ring and a State Senate resolution.
Mr. Schnake advanced for consideration in the State Teacher of the Year program. He was named a Regional Teacher of the Year and then was one of 17 semifinalists statewide.
This is his 31st year of teaching - all in the Ray-Pec School District. The first two years, he taught at the middle school. This is his 29th year teaching at the high school.
Mr. Schnake was also a finalist for Ray-Pec Teacher of the Year in 2005, 2011, and 2017. He was named Missouri State Thespian Teacher of the Year in 2006, and received the Speech and Theatre Association of Missouri's Outstanding Theatre Teacher award in the 2006-2007 school year. He was the National Federation of High Schools Missouri State Teacher of the Year for Speech, Debate, and Theatre during the 2014-2015 school year.
