The Ray-Pec Sunrise Optimist Club on April 24 honored top students at Ray-Pec High School during its 34th annual Excellence in Education Banquet. The club honored the top 25 seniors, the top 15 juniors, and the top 10 sophomores in their respective classes. Dr. Erin Burks, Ray-Pec graduate and psychiatry specialist with Compass Health Network, was the keynote speaker.

Also during the Excellence in Education banquet, the Ray-Pec Sunrise Optimist Club honored five seniors who will receive $2,500 scholarships from the club. Congratulations to Nolan Campbell, Elizabeth Williams, Danielle Fisher and Colbey Stosberg.
