The Foundation is a non-profit organization separate from the School District. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization, and has its own Board of Directors.

The Foundation receives funds through private donations, through the software purchase program and through the Major Saver discount card sale.

The Foundation awards grants to graduation seniors each year. The Foundation funds mini grants for teachers and staff members. The Foundation also sponsors the Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Employee of the Year recognition programs.
