Coach Benson is in his 3rd year at Ray-Pec. He teaches Special Ed, including Choices Transition, Fundamentals of Math, and Co-Teaching Algebra 2. He is also the head varsity girls basketball coach. Coach Benson graduated from William Jewell College, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team, with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He also has a master’s degree in Secondary School Administration from the University of Central Missouri.

Coach Benson has been married to his wife Brooke for 6 years and resides in Raymore. They have two children, Riley (4) and Jordyn (2).
