Steven Miller became RPHS principal in 2012. He was the associate principal of the high school from 2010-2012. He came to Ray-Pec from the Rockwood (Mo.) School District, where he was assistant principal at Eureka High School in Eureka, Mo., from 2007-2010. Before working in the Rockwood district, he was a teacher and coach in the Butler and Warsaw school districts.
He received his bachelor’s degree in education with an emphasis in secondary mathematics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also received a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and an educational specialist degree with an emphasis in secondary administration from UMKC.
