RPHS English 4 students are beginning to work on their senior projects! The first step in the Design Thinking Process is "Empathy." As a result, the student spent six weeks in their Empathy Novel Unit. Now they are transitioning out of their novels into their Client-Connected Projects, so they created empathy shoes. They will work in teams for the next several months, so getting to know each other is crucial to their team's success. They spent class time brainstorming the most important characteristics about themselves that they would need their teammates to know. Students foster their empathy skills as a means of understanding where their teammates are coming from. This then translates to empathizing with their clients and stakeholders on their given problem.
It’s a Win! Ray-Pec 50, Lee’s Summit West 30. #raypec
